I know retirement decisions can be overwhelming. If you are looking for a retirement planner you can trust and that has the ability to translate complex financial strategies in plain English then we should talk. I hope to offer a different experience from other financial professionals. We teach and show you what is possible. We won't try to sell you anything. You have my word on that.
I started this firm specifically to help people, specifically electric cooperative employees, with retirement planning. I worked for an electric cooperative for 11 years and during that time I saw a need for retirement planning above and beyond what NRECA is capable of providing you.
In 2016, while still employed at my cooperative, I started the process to become a registered financial advisor in the state of Missouri. In January of 2019, I left my cooperative to start 80/20 Financial Services.
The name 80/20 Financial Services comes from the Pareto Principle also known as the 80/20 rule which states 20% of the things you do create 80% of your results. Our retirement planning approach really centers around this rule. We focus on what we believe will give you the best chance of a successful retirement. And by successful we mean enjoying retirement without the fear of running out of money. We can help you do that.
Retirement can last 20-30 years which in many cases is as long as you were employed at your cooperative. My firm specializes in helping you succeed during those 20-30 years of retirement.
I want to make clear that 80/20 Financial Services is not in competition with NRECA. My goal is to help cooperative retirees maximize the great benefits NRECA and your cooperative provide you. I’m a huge fan of NRECA, their benefit plan and cooperatives in general.
I know your profession and benefit plans better than any other financial advisor will. You have excellent retirement benefits available to you. I can help you maximize those benefits while creating a retirement income and investing plan that aligns with your retirement goals.
I am married with three kids. My wife is Vanessa Coleman and my kids are Kaitie Coleman, Lucas, Coleman, and Cru Coleman. Thank you for taking the time to find out more information about myself and my business. If you any questions, please feel free to reach out. I'm not a salesman and if I can't help you I will let you know that immediately.
