At retirement your entire financial future comes down to one simple question: Will you outlive your money or will your money outlive you?
Get Started:
Step 1. Phone, Email or Web Meeting: 15-30 Minutes
During this initial conversation I will address any questions or concerns you have. I will also ask you a few simple questions to help me determine if you are on the right track for retirement, if you can afford to retire right now and to make sure our firm is a good fit for you. If I can't help you I will tell you during this initial conversation. If I can help you we will move to step 2.
Step 2. In Person or Web Meeting: 60 Minutes or Longer
During this second conversation we will address all of your questions and concerns. If you are married your spouse must be present for this meeting. I will ask you some additional and more detailed questions so that I can get a better idea of what you are trying to accomplish. I do this to make sure the plan I create will meet your goals. There is no sales pitch. We don't sell. We help.
*Depending on how the initial conversation goes Steps 1 & 2 may be combined.
Step 3. We Create Your Plan
We will create a personalized retirement plan designed specifically to align with your retirement goals.
Step 4. In Person or Web Meeting: 60 Minutes
We will meet to review the plan I have created for you. We will discuss why I think it's the best strategy for you and I will address any questions or concerns you may have about the plan. We will also explain how we approach the retirement planning process if you become a client.
Step 5. Sleep On It (If you need to)
If you need to go home and sleep on it and the next morning ask yourself the following questions:
- Do I like, trust and respect the team at 80/20 Financial?
- Will the value they provide exceed the cost?
- Do I understand and agree with their investment philosophy and retirement planning process?
- Do their recommendations make sense to me?
Again, there is no sales pitch. We want you to make an informed and educated decision and that's it.
Step 6. Paperwork
If we have created a plan that aligns with your retirement goals and you agree that we should work together, we will initiate the appropriate paperwork for you to become a client.
Step 7. Implement And Monitor The Plan
Once the plan is complete and agreed upon we will implement the plan. This is a continual and ongoing process. Your life will change and so will your goals and needs in retirement.
We will invest and/or distribute your money according to the plan. We will monitor your plan continuously. We will meet with you to review and update your plan as your needs and goals change. This can be as often as you need but at a minimum we require a client facing review once per year to ensure you are on track to meet your retirement goals.
Above all else, we want you to make an informed and educated decision before you decide to work with us or any advisor.
